Human Services Coalition of Prince George's County

HSC is working to give nonprofits in Prince George's County the access to opportunities and the legislative advantages they need to good great work for years to come.

Help us take these critical next steps:

1.      Continue advocacy for the Community Benefit Agreements (CBA). As their use will be at the discretion of the County Executive, nonprofits must remain engaged in their development process so that the real needs of our communities and residents are fully met as new construction takes place or existing properties are modified.

2.      Work collaboratively to incorporate a community needs assessment, as part of the ongoing creation on successful CBAs. 

3.      Work with The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) to develop a nonprofit registry, for notification about development projects.

4.      Support the Homeless Services Partnership in the progressive development of a ten year plan to move the county’s homeless service provision to a “rapid re-housing” model.
