Donna Mason, former Associate Executive Director of Employment and Day Services for the Arc of Prince George's County, was appointed by County Executive Rushern Baker to the Personnel Board of the Prince George’s County Council in December 2011. Donna earned her B.A. in Sociology from Frostburg State University and her M.A. in Administrative Management from Bowie State University. She worked as the Executive Director of Riderwood, a large continuing care retirement community in Silver Spring for five years. Prior to her work at Riderwood, Donna served as the Prince George's County's Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Health and Human Services during the Curry Administration. Her long tenure with county government also included appointments as Director of the Department of Family Services, Executive Director of the Commission for Families, and Executive Director of the Consumer Protection Commission.
